First of all, I'm so glad you're here. Whether you've been dreaming of a boudoir session for years or this is something you've only recently found the courage to explore, I want you to know that you're in the right place. For me, boudoir has always been about so much more than beautiful photographs. It's about connection, vulnerability, sensuality and creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without expectation or the need to be anything other than yourself. My approach to boudoir is a little different. Think less about being sexy for the camera and more about feeling sensual in your own skin. There's a beautiful distinction between the two. Sensuality is in the way you move, the softness of your skin, the curve of your body, the confidence in your gaze and those little moments when you completely forget anyone is watching. It's feminine, a little wild, sometimes playful and always unapologetically you. This isn't about performing sexuality or trying to fit into someone else's idea of what sexy looks like. It's about exploring your own femininity, embracing your sensuality and finding beauty in the parts of yourself you may have forgotten to celebrate. A little less posing for approval, a little more owning your power. Perhaps you're celebrating a new chapter, rediscovering yourself after motherhood, reclaiming your confidence or simply wanting to do something entirely for you. Whatever has brought you here, I want your experience to feel deeply personal, meaningful and, above all, yours. I know that stepping in front of a camera, especially in such a vulnerable way, can feel a little daunting. That's why I place so much importance on the experience itself. There is no pressure to arrive feeling confident, knowing how to pose or having everything figured out. We'll take our time, have a chat, find our rhythm and let things unfold naturally. My job is to guide you, make you feel comfortable and create an environment where you can truly let go.

The experience

Each session allows up to two hours of shooting time together. I don't believe in rushing an experience like this. I want us to have the freedom to explore, experiment and create a collection of images that feels authentic to you. We'll move through a variety of poses, expressions, details and natural movements, capturing everything from the softness of a quiet moment to the strength and beauty in your natural form. I'll guide you through it all, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to move your body. Some of my favourite moments happen in between the poses. The laughter, the conversations, the moments when you forget the camera is even there. Those are the moments I want to capture just as much as the beautiful portraits.

The setting

Your session should feel like an extension of you. My in-home studio, nestled in the beautiful Papamoa Hills, offers a relaxed, intimate space to settle into your experience. If you'd feel more comfortable in your own home, I'm also happy to travel to suitable locations within the Bay of Plenty. And for those drawn to something a little more organic and adventurous, we can explore an outdoor setting and embrace the beauty of nature. Wherever we choose to shoot, my intention is always the same: to create a space where you feel comfortable, connected and free to be yourself.

A little about me

After spending the past year on maternity leave, I've recently found myself feeling called back to the creative work I love. Motherhood has been a beautiful, transformative chapter of my life, and returning to photography feels like reconnecting with another part of myself. I'm coming back with a renewed appreciation for slowing down, creating meaningful connections and being intentional with the women I work with. I'm not interested in rushing through sessions or simply ticking off a shot list. I want to create something that feels like you, and an experience you'll remember long after you've received your photographs. I want to photograph the woman behind the roles she plays every day. The mother, the lover, the dreamer, the wild one, the woman who is still figuring it all out. You don't have to be one particular version of yourself to belong here.

A little sensual, a little wild, a whole lot of soul. That's the kind of boudoir I want to create.

You don't need to be a certain size, have a certain level of confidence or know how to be sexy. You just need to show up as you are. I'll take care of the rest.
