This is not just maternity photography.

This is about honouring the woman underneath it all.

Ethereal Mother was created for the woman who doesn't necessarily want the perfectly posed, polished version of maternity photography. She wants to feel something. She wants to remember what it felt like to carry life. To feel the weight of her changing body, the softness of her skin, the strength in her curves and the quiet power of what her body is capable of.

These sessions are inspired by the natural world and the deep connection between woman, body and Mother Nature.

We step outside.

Into the trees, the long grass, the golden light, the water, the earth.

Pregnancy is sensual in its own beautiful way.

Not sexual, sensual.

It's the feeling of warm sunlight against your skin. Your hands resting over your belly. The curve of your back. The movement of your body through the landscape. The feeling of being completely present inside yourself.

I want to photograph those moments.

The softness and the strength.

The vulnerability and the power.

The woman you are now, and the mother you are becoming.

There is something almost primal about pregnancy, this ancient, instinctive connection to your body and to the life growing within it. Ethereal Mother is an invitation to lean into that.

To let yourself be seen in your most natural, feminine state.

Our surroundings become part of your story.

Rather than simply using nature as a backdrop, I want you to feel within it.

We'll choose a location that speaks to you, somewhere wild, quiet and beautiful. Somewhere we can slow down and allow the session to unfold naturally.

I'll guide you through movement and gentle posing, but there is no expectation to perform for the camera.

We'll walk. We'll breathe. We'll move. We'll pause.

And somewhere in between all of that, I'll capture you exactly as you are.

Sometimes clothed.

A little about me

After spending the past year immersed in motherhood myself, I've returned to my photography with a deeper appreciation for the beauty in these transformative seasons of a woman's life.

Motherhood has changed the way I see women.

It has made me more aware of the strength in our bodies, the tenderness in our transitions and the many versions of ourselves we move through across a lifetime.

That's what I want to photograph.

Not perfection.

Presence.

Not just your bump.
